Licensed & insured
Express Towing & Roadside Assistance runs four tow trucks and two service vans across Washtenaw County and the communities around it. We answer our own phone around the clock—no out-of-state call centre and no callback queue.
Most calls fall inside 30 to 45 minutes. When traffic or Michigan weather means it will take longer, we tell you on the call rather than leaving you watching the road.

Communities
Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti are the centre. From there, coverage runs east through Belleville and Van Buren Township, north to Whitmore Lake and Brighton, west to Chelsea and Dexter, and south to Milan and Dundee.
Typical response is 30 to 45 minutes across most of our service area. It depends on where you are, where our nearest truck is, and what the roads are doing. We give you a real estimate on the call, and if it is going to be longer than usual we tell you then rather than leaving you guessing.
Yes. We answer 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. Nights and weekends are ordinary working hours for us, not an emergency surcharge situation.
Cars, pickups, SUVs, vans, box trucks, delivery vans and small commercial vehicles, plus classic cars, low clearance vehicles and non-running project cars. We also move ATVs and similar equipment. We do not currently tow motorcycles or heavy duty vehicles.
Yes. A flatbed does not need the vehicle to run, steer or have keys. We winch it on. Cars that have been sitting for years with flat tyres and seized brakes are routine work for us.
It depends on the vehicle, the distance and what is involved in getting it loaded. We give you a price on the phone before we dispatch a truck, so you know what you are paying before anyone turns up.
